Travel

Dr. Melisa Rivière has been traveling to Cuba from the United States for educational purposes for nearly twenty years. She has designed and executed study abroad programs for SIT Study Abroad and the SPAN program of the University of Minnesota, as well as faculty delegations for the UMN Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Global Change which included the University’s Provost Dr. Hanson, the College of Education and Human Development, and the School of Public Health. Melisa has also designed and led customized educational / cultural tours for for private groups of professionals who qualify for travel to Cuba under the Office of Foreign Assets Controls general and/or specific licenses.
